by: WonderWhy does everyone here take pride in the fact that so many pnms do not get bids? Especially those who attend pref parties? That's effed up. Or is it just Greek rank meanies and trolls?

Truthfully the number of invites you have in each round has nothing to do with whether or not you get a bid at the end.

I know people who had full cards at 1st invitational and no bids and those with 4 invites who went to 3 prefs and got bid. You never know what's going to happen. If you maximize your options and go into each party with a positive attitude, you are only helping yourself.

So true! Because a lot of times the ones with really full schedules especially at first have had a lot of houses they'd be better suited for dropped from their schedule early on. As recruitment continues it becomes clearer to the houses they have left that they might not be as good of a match and then they are left with little to no great matches for preference.

That really sucks. Indiana needs to change the system and sororities should only invite people to Pref that will appear somewhere on their bid list. There's no reason to put someone through an emotional Pref ceremony and then not be willing to extend them a big. I'm from another school and we can't invite someone to Pref that we wouldn't give a bid to.
