I'm so sorry to all of you that didn't make the grades for Greek life here at IU. And though Greek life is great, good grades are even better and a million times more important! Try to keep that in mind and use this an opportunity to reflect on your first semester decisions. Then perhaps by next year you'll get another chance to try!
Greek life is very time consuming and requires you to be able to delegate between commitments. But grades must always come first! IU simply does not want to see you fail and jump into something which you're not ready for yet. You have to learn to crawl before you can run, so spend this next year learning how to study and bring up that GPA! Good luck, and every Greek life member is rooting for you for next year!
