1) STAY OFF OF THIS SITE. It ruins your first impressions of houses, you need to make your own opinions of each house to see where you'll fit best. That being said, don't take what other people say into consideration.
2) Be confident with who you are. The more comfortable you are in your own skin, the more likely people will see your true colors and will connect with you better! There are too many nervous girls scared they're not pretty or skinny enough, when the reality is if you're confident and comfortable in your skin, you'll either get a bid or it's just not for you. Yeah, this site is not a great place for PNMs. I'm sure you're nervous (I was too and mostly everyone is), but reading posts here won't help.

Biggest tip is to give every house a fair shot. Even if you're not super pumped about your list back for a round or your favorite house didn't ask you back, stick it out til bid night and see what happens. Be happy and positive at every house and try to have fun. Don't expect all your favorites to ask you back, that very very rarely happens. Keep an open mind and if you receive a bid, go to bid night regardless of what chapter it is. Every chapter has great things to offer.

I wish I had not let early cuts affect me like they did. I only had 8 invites back to 2nd round/ 6 to 3rd round and I was devastated at the time. I can honestly say I LOVE my chapter even though GR tells me I shouldn't lol. Also take GR for what it is - an anonymous gossip site
