take it to a judge( let's sue!)

by: IUlawyer

As an IU graduate and lawyer lets take it to a judge. I have seen so many posts on what's followed I looked up national unananmous panhellic rules.
A college panhellic council shall take no action that infringes on the sovereignty, rights or privileges on the individual NPC sororities including the following:
iii requiring a scholastic grade point average as a condition for a women's participation in the membership recruitment process.

How can Indiana ignor this blatant disregard of a clearly stated unanimous rule?

I am willing to put together a statement on behalf of the girls posting. Let them rush. Gpa isn't everything.

Shut up. Your grades are much more important than being in a sorority. If you couldn't get a 3.0 taking gen Ed classes, your grades will definitely not improve while being in a sorority. So stop whining on every single post

First. What in the hell are you doing on Greek rank and second what is clearly stated in the post is that Panhellenic will not interfere with an individual sorority. Go live in the real world and quit trolling Greek rank

Spell check is your friend. Panhellic=panhellenic, ignor=ignore.

What the unanimous agreement regarding grades means is the panhellenic requirement will not usurp the rules of each of the 26 NPC sororities. So if the IU chapter of ABC sorority requires a PNM a 3.4 GPA in order to receive a bid, the lower GPA required for enrollment in IU NPC sorority recruitment will not negate the stricter GPA requirement of ABC.

You sue if those below 2.8 GPA losers were allowed to rush, panhellenic took their fee and they were all dropped because of their low grades? Would you sue each national org as well as the IU chapters? What do you think you would accomplish?

Yes! Why in the world would any girl want to fight like crazy to spend time, money, and emotions on rush only to get cut because she doesn't meet the chapter's grade requirements? I know it doesn't seem like it, but IU is doing you a kindness by not allowing you to go through a process that will end badly for you. Please honey, let it go and work really hard to have that amazing sophomore GPA so you won't get cut.

read this more carefully, lawyer. It says Panhel can't infringe on the rights of the individual NPC SORORITY (not PNM).
