14K a year is not much at all considering some townhouses in Btown rent for that a year. Friends pay $1200 a month for a 3 bedroom townhouse, granted it's really nice, but that's a lot for just rent. 14K + plus utilities split by a 100 guys, just isn't that much. Most of the guys living in will be paying less next year than this year with dues, social, etc. plus rent.

Dude, it's not 14k split between 100 guys haha. It's 14k for each guy if they want to live in lol

Almost all of the rooms are also quads. The bathrooms are communal. In my opinion, $14k is NOT worth sharing a room with 3 other people.

14k is a lot considering PIke are not well off kids. Doubt phi psi would be okay paying 14k a year

I can't tell if youre serious tbh... There are two bedrooms in college towns in california that go for twice that a year. 14k split across however many live ins they have is so cheap. It's prob cheaper than the premium residence halls

We're in the rural midwest, I'm sorry if it's surprising that people find a price like that somewhat realistic for that house.

If it's 14K per person per year, I do not see any fraternity able to handle the payments. This house should have gone to one of the unhoused sororities that are able to afford the payments due to their large # of members.

Whoever thought it was only 14k a year total and not per person should not be attending IU hahaha

We're in the rural midwest bro. Nobody is expecting any house to rent for 1.1m a year. That's retarded. 14k a year is way closer to market value for a house like that than 1.1m. No house in bloomington, indiana of all places is worth 1.1m a year.

Considering the lease hasn't even been finalized, I have no idea where you clowns get your info from. It's not $14k per person per year.

My organization looked into it. ATO wanted 14k per year per person for 80 people. That did include a way over the top meal plan and housekeeping too. It would have been several thousand dollars more than other houses. It was ultimately too much $ for a temporary situation, but it is a sweet house.

I'm friends with on of their exec members and apparently they're paying somewhere around $840k per year, not $1.1M

Your organization might have gotten to 14k per person, but they got it down to 12.5k
