People need to ignore these lists, and what people are saying. try to meet and get to know as many sororitys as possible, and join the one that fits you the best. ignore where it is "ranked" on the list. If it's a top tier, middle tier, lower tier...who cares. join wherever you are happy and connect with the sisters the most.

As has been stressed by multiple posters--Greek life is not about "top houses and rankings," it is about finding a place to contribute, learn life lessons, feel at home and thrive. Why can't rankers and haters recognize that this negative behavior is a distraction from the postive things that Greek life accomplishes. We have moved beyond junior high and high school. We should have learned there, that ANY kind of bullying is hurtful and destructive. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Kudos to those on this forum who continue to attempt to focus on what sisterhood is truly about, and shame on those who continue to get enjoyment out of the degradation of others.

heard that DChi or Phi Sci might be moving into it. I am not sure, but I know that TPA probably isn't moving into Acacia's house because Acacia will most likely be moving back in in the next year or few years, and sorority houses are usually permanent. They'd have to make extreme changes to the house in order to make it livable for a sorority. Changes they couldn't make renting the house, and I doubt Acacia is selling their house any time soon.
#338by: TPA can't
move into Acacia's house because the deal that IU made with their nationals was that they would remain an "off-campus" sorority for the time being. Panhel's website even states that they want to continue to expand/build on the unhoused sorority community, so it's highly doubtful that TPA will be moving in.
I have a feeling that Akak's house is going to remain empty next year, as basically every off-campus fraternity has signed a lease for next year and it's too late now.
