If i were to rush as a sophomore would I be able to get into a house? Do most houses take sophomores?

It is more difficult for sophomores to receive a bid, but there were houses this year who took quite a few of them. In addition, a new chapter will be coming to campus in the fall- a colony is a vet good option for upperclassman. Good luck!

To sophomore: I agree-definitely give it a try. The colony idea is a good one. Alpha sigma alpha will be recruiting this fall. Also check out the sorority recruitment forum on Greek chat. Lots of legitimate advice there. Do not pay attention to ranking perspectives you see on this site-not representative of IU Greeks.

Doesn't matter what anyone says on here. Sorority girls in the SEC are a million times hotter than any girl at IU.

you guys are going to give rankings like all ones or all fives, there should be a reason why. I mean an ACTUAL reason, not just words. Maybe they can find out if there are things they can improve on. Maybe you guys have suggestions. Could we make this negative thing turn into a positive thing? Everyone's sorority should be number one in their own eyes. We all know you can self rank. Maybe you can post and say the things you love most about your sorority. Outsiders can read these and find out what it's like inside your sorority and not just looks. This shouldn't be about top or bottom tier houses. This should be about everyone coming together and helping each other improve together. This isn't a competition. There is no prize for being "first". Let's try and help everyone out.

dont agree with post below. tiers aren't correct because of all the negative ranking and self promoting by some of the houses.

The rankings and comments about individual houses on the IU site are absolutely horrendous and ridiculous-worse than any other University. How can adults treat eachother this way? We all know Greek Rank exists to cause divisiveness- but this is unbelievable. Hope it is just a few bitter, immature individuals and not a representation of the system as a whole.
