sorority comments

Wow...450+ total rankings. That's a lot of outsiders ranking chapters when most of them only have 160+ women. Every chapter has some positive attributes, could be: GPA, philanthropy hours, philanthropy dollars raised, string sisterhood, long standing tradition, etc.

The notion of ranking sororities is a joke in itself. Obvviously the people in each sorority think that they are number one and rightfully so, but this doesn't give anyone an excuse to put down other people. Please think about it beore you go to bash a sorority. We all have friends in other sororities. the negative comments are getting out of control. While I would prefer that nobody used this site, what soever, can we at least stop being rude to one another. There is no real ranking because a ranking of the sororities is a personal opinion.

This is so hurtful. It is distressing to think that adults (and fellow Greeks) make the type of comments that are commonplace on this site. It reminds me of junior high bullying- and NO one deserves to be treated with such disrespect. How can anyone find demeaning others so enjoyable. Please, please stop this....,

Agree with "agreed". Let's treat eachother with respect and get off this site. The only individual(s) benefitting from our cruelty to eachother is the loser site owner. We are better than this.

As a former Greek at IU, i am viewing this site because other parents were talking about the cyber bullying. My hope was that this was exaggerated, but the description is pretty accurate. Even anonymous comments can have a significant impact. An individual who feels powerful by hurling nonsensical insults at others needs to do some self exploration. Thankfully, you are in the minority. My daughter has had a wonderful experience- this site does not reflect the IU Greek system. Those who degrade others do it in every aspect of their lives. This just gives them a forum.

All im saying is that like there is so much more to life than greek life. and maybe once you see that you will understand
