No Child Left Behind is doing to grade schools what colleges have done forever -- see with NCLB, there are bare minimums that must be put in place so every kid can succeed. But when a school doesn't have much money and has to make cuts, it then cuts the services to the gifted. College has minimum standards. That's what the greek system is -- it's the minimum standard put in place to assure that anyone can succeed. If you screw around in high school, don't do what your teacher says, you won't get to go to schools that cater to the smart so your brains can grow. You'll go to Indiana University, where brains don't get credit anyway so all love and services go to the minimum.
