No extra round but they have lots more PNMs at each round. They have to ask back a lot more because their quota is much higher plus the majority of PNMs rank them the lowest to come back to. High quota + low return rate = more invites for each round

Their quota is not much higher. Each chapter sets its own quota. Last year ASA's quota was 45 and TPA's quota was 60. There were several more established (older) chapters whose quota was 50+.
Tomorrow, some chapters may have a 4th party. This could be where the "extra round" came about. It's not an extra round, it's just an extra party. So instead of having three preference parties, a chapter might have 4.

Their quota is higher and they have to invite a lot more people than the desirable houses do to fill it. 15 more people is a lot more when no one wants your sorority.

Why so mean? There are girls who do want the unhoused sororities. Believe it or not, there are girls who are on a tight budget and living in the house is something they can't afford. Choosing an unhoused chapter is a way for them to be Greek. Also, there are girls who don't want to share a room. Or have a boyfriend and want to see him whenever they want.

It's not mean, it's just the truth as far as how the numbers work out. More spots. Fewer PNM's wanting them. More invites required. It's math.
Seriously though, there are about zero girls who "want" the unhoused sororities. You look dumb trying to make stuff up.

Every sorority with a house on this campus has a dozen or more chapters on other campuses that DON'T have a house or a dorm. Do you think those people aren't "real" members of your sorority? Nice sisterhood you've got there.

This isn't other schools. This is IU. Not having a house means you're irrelevant. That's the simple truth. The unhoused sororities are full of randoms and girls none of the real sororities wanted. You can cry all you want about it, but that's the stone cold truth.

"Annoyed Alum" and "You may have to explain" are so right! If you are just in this for the building (house) then remember you have to LIVE with these girls! You had better like the sisterhood more than the building or you are about to be miserable.
And seriously, some of you do appear to have the social skills of a seventh grader. Do you still only eat at certain lunch tables with certain kids? Sheesh.

Highly doubt those making the nasty comments on this site are members of Panhel here at IU. They do not represent the majority of Greek women. Most of us welcome expansion--housed and unhoused, and have great respect for every chapter on campus. Hopefully, things will start to trend better for PNM's. Many changes occurring and possible RFM next year. Too little too late for those who have been negatively impacted by the process. Please know this is difficult for those of us on the other side as well. Keep your chins up--your day will come.

So sad to see how unsupportive some of the girls are of other houses that's not what being in a sorority is all about I can tell the girl being very rude on this thread is superficial just because you may be in a house that's considered top tier here it would be funny to see how sisterly you would be if you were placed into a school where your house wasn't top and the girls there would see you for who you are your a social climber and only care about status you don't care about sisterhood your only in it for the parties and hanging out with the top fraternities and living in the pretty house please rethink some of the things you've said to the people on this site you never know if they were apart of your house and I hope your not apart of my house because I would be sooo upset to know we have sisters who are fake and judgmental please rethink why you joined your sorority and understand all houses are filled with great girls the process here at IU is hard for girls to even get into a house and so many girls are cut so anyone in a house here is lucky and awesome for surviving the whole process

Not true unhoused chapters have never had an extra round. No chapter has ever had an extra round. Stop passing out wrong info.
