Saw this on another school's page and thought it would be interesting to see here.
Actives, what houses did you attend for 3 party day? You don't have to say which one you joined but it would be interesting to see the combination of houses everyone attended.

okay? so? That wasn't the question. Are you saying that girls are better off in middle/lower tier houses? Just because a house is "top" doesn't mean girls won't be happy there. For some reason there's this idea that lower tier houses have better sisterhood which just isn't true. I preffed 2 top tier houses and 1 middle tier and I picked one of the top houses and I don't regret the decision for a second. I love my sorority and my sisters SO much and we're all very happy.

I think what Go Greek was referencing to was she put the middle tier first, knowing that her odds would be better getting into a house. Had she put the top houses first and not made either one, she might have been cross cut by the middle tier. If she was cross cut, she wouldn't have made any house.
In every house there will be woman you love and some not so much. Once you get in a house, regardless of which one you will make great friends.

she was not desirable enough to make any bid list, so no she was not a desirable PNM...cross cutting does not happen

I did not suicide, I listed all three chapters. Sadly, this is very common with IU sorority recruitment.

For once and for all there is NO SUCH THING as being cross cut. If you did not receive a bid you were not high enough on all three chapters' lists. It means that each chapter filled quota before your name came up. This is why IU Panhel sucks. They could have added quota additions to each pledge class. If they had done this last year and added 5 girls to each class, 100 more girls would have gotten bids.
