how to dress?

Are you supposed to dress like showing off wealth? Do some sororities value this more than others? Not trying to be shallow, just wondering because I have heard mixed things. Thanks!

Dress like yourself. Put your true self forward. That's the only way you have a chance to end up where you belong.

Dress as yourself. You'll feel more comfortable and not like you're putting on an act. You will be miserable if you end up in a house you don't really belong in all because you didn't present your true self.

OP dress how you are most comfortable and how you normally dress! If for you that means pearls and button ups then that's fine! But if any PNM reads this who thinks that style is not for them then they should not wear that. You will end up where you're supposed to be and we want you to be your genuine self! Fashion is a good expression of personality and who you are, so use it! Good luck!

You'll only appear trying too hard when how you dress doesn't fit your personality. It's pretty obvious when girls try to hard or when they actually dress like that.

Of course you have to off your wealth. A lot of the top tier sororities judge on looks and wealth. They want the girls that are going to donate the most money as active member and as alumna.
