potential of a pnm sophomore

Is it a big deal that I'm rushing as a sophomore and not a freshman ? I'm not expecting top tier houses but do mid tier houses care ?

Somewhat. If you're involved, have a good GPA, know people, and are personable, no. However, most pnm's ARE freshman, and so that's kind of what sororities expect. It's not as fun to get a little that's the same age or older than you...
