DZ/APHI bid promising

by: BEWARE

PNMs trust this and nothing else being posted right now. DZ and APHI are NOTORIOUS bid promisers. For your own sake tread lightly when they say this **** to you because it has no true meaning behind it and they will drop you with little remorse after doing that shi... I’ve also heard they literally set aside money for the fines they get from PHA because their bid promising is so prevelant and they know they’ll get reported.

And the bull**** keeps flowing from salty girls who didn't get the house they wanted last year. TRUTH: There are no drops after pref, there's just bid matching based on the chapters' bid lists, which are ranked, and your choices of 1 and 2.

If you attend a chapter's pref you are on their bid list somewhere in their ranking. Bid matching is done by a computer algorithm that prioritizes matching you with your first ranked house. Not a guarantee at all but your odds are better for getting your choice than in previous rounds.

You will get that bid if you are high enough on their ranked list to match with them before they reach quota. If you are not high enough then you will probably match with your number two house. Either way, rank both houses and you're guaranteed a bid to one of them.

If you don't get the bid you want after pref, you weren't dropped, you just weren't high enough to make the quota cut off for them. They wanted you or they wouldn't have asked you to their pref. It's out of their hands and everyone just has to live with it and move on.

Salty ex-pnm's don't know **** about rush and just want to take you and their target chapters down.
