How does fraternity rush work? Is it difficult to get a bid if you don't know anyone?

Getting a bid is made easier by three things: knowing someone, being attractive, and good social skills. As long as you have two of the three you should be fine. Simply higher standards the higher tier your shooting for.

Here is the best advise.....Visit every fraternity house, talk with the members, find out what they do (recreational, social & service) and what they have to offer (scholarship, leadership opportunities,alumni networking, etc) and then you make your own decision. the basic four factors.... stay focused, be aggressive, show enthusiasm and interact with everyone. This is the best advise I can give you.
