The TEP Tent Tragedy of Halloweekend

by: Lol

It was a cold Halloween, the wind sharp as a knife,
When students roamed campus, in search of some life.
They huddled in costumes, shivering with hope,
Seeking a party to help them all cope.

Then, through the shadows, a promise did loom—
The Tep Tent stood tall in the night’s chilly gloom.
A beacon of warmth, or so it appeared,
But soon they’d discover the thing they most feared.

For inside that tent, no bodies swayed,
No laughter, no music—just emptiness displayed.
The DJ spun songs to an audience bare,
Echoing off walls that had nothing to share.

Pikapps, Asig, and Sig Nu, too,
Had lines out the door and crowds in view.
But TEP’s “main event” was as dead as could be,
A Halloween flop, an eerie marquee.

The dance floor was vacant, the drinks untouched,
A Halloween party that didn’t do much.
No warmth to be found, no spirit or cheer—
Just a hollow tent, cold and clear.

It was so dead inside, not a soul to be seen,
Just a few TEP ghouls, looking lost and lean.
They wandered the tent with a vacant despair,
Haunting their own party, but wishing elsewhere.

So here’s to TEP, the house with no name
With Halloween dreams that quickly went lame.
On a night made for thrills and frightful delight,
They hosted a ghost town—a true Halloween night.
