whats wrong with rushing a bottom tier sorortiy

hi I’m a freshman planning on rushing in the fall what’s wrong with rushing a bottom tier sorority compared to a top one?

nothing except for connections. the only benefit from being in a top house is pairing with top frats. the frat parties themselves r mostly the same regardless of status from my experience. i honestly have had a lot more fun at certain bottom frats than any mid to high tier frats i’ve gone to. it seems to depend on the party like entirely.
i also have friends in mid to high tier srats who have complained ab their sisterhood or hazing. i think lower tier srats might be more relaxed and open-minded toward differences within the sorority. I COULD BE SO WRONG ab this though!!
ofc this is all just my experience. try not to worry about what tier u get into and try to think about where you would actually fit in the most comfortably. i had a friend drop a touse a few weeks in because she realized it didn’t fit her and she wishes she preffed a different mid tier house.
