Those degenerates with a drinking problem end up at geed clubs like sammy, tep, AKL. Actual greek life with top tier fraternities are cooler and more exclusive than you think and only the most deserving get a bid.
Same way a goldman banker looks down on a lower tier job. Its a matter of prestidge.

Pretty sure the one kid who made it into Goldman this year isn’t in a house let alone a top house. Ironic you say that as well because even though I really don’t like Pike, they are the house that places best at Banks. Plus IB is kind of a waste of time lmao. There are better careers where you aren’t slaving away for 80 hours a week to still make less than a quant does. Take this from somebody who did an IB internship at a boutique.
