spring rush

Just wondering, do the sororities rush in the spring? Is it easier compared to the fall rushes?

All sorority rush is done in for the spring semester. There is no fall rush, that is only for men's rush

I might transfer to IU next spring, if I was in a sorority this fall and i transferred over to IU, would I be able to stay in the same sorority or would i have to rush again?

If you’ve been initiated into a sorority you are never allowed to join a different one. You’d have to apply to transfer into the IU chapter

I don't know, it depends on the chapter. If you are initiated into the sorority before you transfer, most chapters vote to add transfers or not.

1- this post is from 2013
2- “informal rush” CAN be done by sororities in the fall, they just give out select bids but there is no rush process
3- yes, rush is still only in the spring
