I always thought XO was a little better than AXO but no way DZ is... DZ has been slowly rising and have just recently been top, but AXO has been top for years

SNU was with GPhi, but then SNU got on probation. Luckily for GPhi, ChiO was put on probation so then Beta didn't have a pair either.

i've met some really sweet girls in both off campus houses. and they seemed genuinely happy with the girls they are with! don't assume they wish they were in a different house. I say good for them that they started a new chapter and are trying to get their name out and noticed!

If you were truly a member of the "Greek community" than you would respect and appreciate the fact that these chapters offer an opportunity for more women to get involved. Bravo to them. WE are glad they are here...

I really wish more people had this mindset. When I went through recruitment I was VERY naive and assumed people were telling the truth when they said the greek community was linked and likes everyone.

Unfortunately, because of pride and confidence issues, the greek community has created "tiers" and barriers just like the one @thank you expressed. Calling a house "jealous and bitter" because a new chapter at IU is trying to make a name for themselves shows how much work this campus needs! ALL campuses for that matter. What happened to this idea of "panhel love" ???

I'm all about Panhel love and expansion, but I'm not cool with girls in the new chapters (TPA is ESPECIALLY guilty of this) coming out of nowhere with a holier than thou attitude and thinking that they are better than everybody else. They need to learn to respect their other Panhellenic sisters rather than try to create rivalries and act like a victim in every situation because they are new and unhoused. I've WITNESSED TPAs being rude to other PHA chapters on multiple occasions. Their first class to colonize was probably the worst at this but they've gotten better as time goes on. Either way, they have a long way to go before I can take them seriously and respect them as a chapter.

Why are you saying this? You're only hurting the greek community when you speak like that...
If you really ARE for panhel love, then you wouldn't say that. You have no idea what that girl was going through. Everybody has a reason behind their actions. Maybe she had a bad day?

And you cannot act like you've NEVER seen someone else from a different chapter being cranky.

A better way to handle it is to give them benefit of the doubt and move on!

and to the person at the bottom who is @@dude. it's a lot more complicated than to just say "oh let's pair!" socials have to agree, you have to set up a lot of plans, and you have to make sure you haven't paired recently. plus a lot of chapters have a backup in case they either get dropped or want a different house!
