Tiers are also about history of the house, guys recruited every year, and other factors. Phi Sig is newer on the block and throw down but don’t recruit historically top tier dudes

More goes into the quality of a house than just their parties. Tradition, network, brotherhood, personalities, attractivness, money.

Money is huge is tiers!!! Top tier girls expect frats to go all out on parties. Besides that people from similar socioeconomic backgrounds tend to get along better for a variety of reasons. Not to say that all rich people go top, there are filthy rich people in every single chapter but top tier chapters definitely have the highest percentage of filthy rich people

That is a load of crap. I'm sorry, but if you're from Indiana, you're not filthy rich. Yet, lots of Indiana people are in the top houses. If you want to see the richest houses find the house with the most people from the coasts, specifically California, NJ, and CT. That's where the real money lies.

Phi sig throws big parties but parties with middle tier girls, if they threw big parties and partied with top tier girls then they would be considered top... but they don't. simple as that

This is so dumb. Not every fraternity wants to party with top tier girls who stand around and talk selfies all night (looking at you Pi Phi). Maybe we'd rather have a good time with cute girls who aren't selfie obsessed, who don't care what tier we're in, and who just want to throw down? Honestly, there are pretty girls in every tier, trust me, and some of the best parties I've been to this year were with what are considered middle or lower chapters.

in my opinion phi sig is filled with social climbers who desperately wanna be known as a “top” house. they talk themselves up so much (especially the freshman/sophomores) saying they will be having a top tier hoco pair when in reality i don’t think they even have one lol. they thrive off of the quads they have with a couple top houses but in reality those are few and far between and they host 100% of those quads because they are usually just being used for their courtyard.

Phi Sig has the best courtyard for dartys but the dudes are so plain and boring which makes them suck
