At the end of the day a guy is gonna look at a Pi Phi better than an ASA 100% of the time, but by college most people should have matured to realize that it’s about the actual people. Pair wise people care but not on an individual basis

The thing about ASA though is they are “bottom tier” but they have a lot of pretty girls that chose them because they didn’t want to live in a sorority house. Same with some of the other “bottom tier houses that used to be unhoused. I’m in a “middle tier” house and I was honestly shocked when I saw some of these girls wearing ASA & TPA letters because they were actually really pretty but their houses get such a negative rep on this site

Girls in bottom tier houses are usually girls who were able to get over themselves enough to join a sorority when they wanted to join a sorority. I can't express enough that the only people who care about tiers are geeds ESPECIALLY geeds who plan on rushing but haven't yet aka first semester freshman girls. It's hard to understand what the tier system really is before you're in Greek life because the way people make it sound is that the only way to have friends or go to cool parties is to be in a top or top middle house and if you're in anything below that you'll lose all your friends and never have any parties to go to and will be the laughing stock of the campus. About a month after joining any of the 22 houses you will realize that you would've had a pretty similar experience anywhere especially now that there's a three pair a week limit for everyone! If you want to be in a house and the only reason you're not in one/considering dropping rush is because you'd be in a bottom tier house then the only thing stopping you from having a dope Greek life experience is your own ego. I can't tell you how many people I know who joined a bottom tier house their junior year after they finally decide it's worth it to be in a bottom tier house and regret more than anything not getting over themselves sooner when they could've had more time with their sisters that they're now obsessed with.
