pi phi top?

by:

Heard Pi Phi is the top house here, but what makes them different? Also what exactly are they like? My friend's older sister goes here and mentioned them but also said she "didn't like them." I don't know if it's because she did say she is "in their rival sorority" (Zeta) so I would like an actual unbiased description :)

Honestly zeta and pi phi are very similar pi phi is just a more top tier version. Pi phi recruits on money and dress size over everything. A lot of ditsy rich party girls in both houses. Also if you want to be in a house you shouldn't call out your friends in top tier houses on Greek rank just a little advice

The original post and first response are like the only posts on here not slandering zeta lol if you look at posts views many have way over 2000 so it's not even very unlikely for someone to respond in < 5 minutes

ZTA and Pi Phi are not rivals, ZTA wishes they were. Pi Phi is considered a "top" chapter by fraternities based on nothing but looks. The same fraternities that call them top tier complain about how Pi Phi isn't fun at parties, they spend all night on their phones. Pi Phi is pretty, thin but have a low chapter GPA and I have no idea what their philanthropy is. Do I know girls in Pi Phi? Yeah, some of them are nice, some of them aren't so nice. You really have to check them out for yourself to decide.

Since zeta is getting kicked off then it's irrelevant

Not really any such thing as rival sororities. Yeah there's competition between houses that are VERY similar tier wise but zeta is pretty obviously no competition for pi phi. Zeta is competitive with sororities like kappa and axo

I'd say once a month someone posts asking about Pi Phi. There isn't some magic potion that makes them the "top" house. They've been that way for a very long time. Zeta was top tier back in the day but they've had mess up after mess up. The only "competing" going on is during rush and that is between Pi Phi/Aphi/Chi O not Pi Phi and Zeta.

General stereotype is rich/pretty/out of state girls. Less drama than aphi or chi o and almost culty with how tight knit the house is. Always some variation, but in general this is the same for every pledge class.

Culty hahahah never could put my finger on exactly how to describe them but this is spot on. Pi Phi has lots of very secretive very historic traditions and culture behind closed doors.

I wouldn't call sitting on washing machines "historic traditions"

Look around on different college sites and on MANY of them is a thread that begins: “I’ve heard that Pi Phi is number one here, or top tier here, or the best, etc. etc.

Clearly these are Pi Phis wanting to read about everybody agreeing and loading on the compliments.....GIVE IT A REST GIRLS!

Yes this post seems fake.. BUT because the whole zeta/Pi Phi rivalry comment is kind of sketchy. Seems much more like a Zeta trying to appear equal to Pi Phi on Greek Rank

^ Exactly, one more desperate attempt to salvage that train wreck that is ZTA.

The only house that needs to/would benefit from posting something like this on Greek Rank is Zeta
