Kinda but like not really it's better to be in any house than no house as far as social life goes. Greek life isn't for everyone but if you want to go to frat parties you either have to be in a sorority or be able to get on lists. If you're someone who gets on lists and isn't in a house congrats you're a cool geed

I would say from this question that you are not. Sounds like an insecurity issue. Of course, others could be cool and not be Greek. But, if you aren't an athlete or super model you probably aren't getting into parties if you don't go through recruitment.
