DZ rarely takes legacies, there are at least three in this PC and two girls who weren't technically legacies but their aunts were DZs. Do some digging. Bet I know more than you think I do. ;)
Also true about last year's pledge class and the black out incidents. You must not be greek, most everyone who lives in that block knew about it.

I personally know of at least 4 direct legacies that were cut right before prefs and there's no way I know all the legacies. Not my house but I do know that part is true..... I also know they don't like to follow the rules and have been in trouble off and on for the last 4 years with their Nationals. So please tell me more about what I don't know.

Each IU chapter (other than the smaller nationals like TPA, ASA and DPhiE) have at least 50 or so legacies come through recruitment. Some years Theta has almost 150+ legacies come through. So having 4 legacies cut right before pref doesn't mean that they couldn't have taken a dozen more. DG takes anywhere from 8-20 legacies in an average pledge class. No one knows for sure.
But the not following rules part is spot on. Their national has been lenient with them because it is one of their strongest chapters. DZ is just a middle of the road national organization with a little know philanthropy. So they get a lot of slack. Probably not anymore.

DZ cannot afford to get into any trouble. When the sophomores where pledges they had to take two of them to hospital, too much drinking. National basically owns them right now, had to take every legacy that came through that wanted them. If they though the legacy was too unattractive they were rude to them during recruitment so they would drop DZ. Check out their pledge class, some of the not so cute girls are legacies or recs of DZ alums who matter.
