How did kappa suddenly become top tier? Does one good freshman pc automatically make your house not suck?

No, years of strong pledge classes, a beautiful house in an amazing location and a strong alumnae presence have all contributed to whatever status Kappa has. Unlike other “top” houses who take “hot” or “famous online” girls, Kappa pledges girls from old money and well-connected families first; if those women happen to be attractive, all the better.

Actually, I’m NOT a Kappa, but I’m a senior in another house. Both my aunts and grandmother were Kappas; my mom was in another house not at IU. I know Kappa’s reputation at IU....I love my house, but I would have been happy as a Kappa too.

Sorry if my knowledge of sororities upsets you. I grew up hearing about Greek life from all the members of my family. And I’m not apologizing to you for it.

Actually yes, a new pc can move you up for the year, just like a bad pc can bump you down? Kappa is on the rise, absolutely sneaking up behind the aphi girls if not already passed them. Aphi girls show out to pairs take pics and leave, Kappa’s are fun

When I rushed, they were one of my favorite houses. Nice, smart, well put together girls. Not a surprise at all that they’re top tier.

kappa is using GLITTER - good looking girls and GLUE - girls who are either legacies or have good gpa to climb the ranks

I do like kappa, but they are definitely not top tier. Kappa is nice and had an ok pledge class, but one good PC cannot remotely change your tier. They are a good sorority, but def MIDDLE TIER and need to stop self-ranking on these pages
