Hate to tell ya but greek life doesn’t matter after college!! No one cares about what tier house you were in or even if you were in a house at all!

It actually does matter in terms of employment. Greeks prefer to hire Greeks

Recruiters don't care if your part of the Greek system - so misinformed! If anything, they laugh at those who bring it up in interviews as if being social chair has prepared you for the real life....NOT!!

that's not what they're saying. A non-Greek recruiter won't care one way or another. A Greek recruiter will probably give preference to a fellow Greek (regardless of whether or not they share a chapter.) assuming the candidates are hopefully otherwise equal.

True and not true. Alumni networks often post the jobs informally on their chapter website or fraternity social media before the job is posted and they fill the opening before it's officially posted. Don't doubt that power of those connections. If you think Greek nepotism isn't alive and well, you are naive. It's also the way to a great internship. Several frats have internships that are always filled by a brother. Do a good job at the internship and you stand a great shot at a job as soon as one opens up.

If the guy hiring for the job isn't Greek, then yeah it's true. It all just depends.

Event planning jobs are tailor made for sorority women who planned social events or recruitment.
