If it keeps going in the same direction I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets taken away as a whole. It used to be about the bonds you make with your chapters and serving the community but now it’s turned into just a party scene that condones bad behavior

The problems that are glamorized with Greek Life is not unique to Greek Life. On any given college campus you will find those same issues in the non-Greek population, the difference is those issues tend to not draw the same media attention. Greek Life will always have a target on their back and are an easy target for those who aren't a part of it.

What's changed over the years is the use of social media. This is were Greek's get themselves in trouble. What a person may think is an innocent Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat or Tweet get's magnified when it is tied to Greek Life. Greeks have to always be aware of this surroundings and what they do and say, especially while wearing letters. The overheard comments while out at a store can do more damage then you realize.

Remember, the Nationals, School Officials and your peers are watching so just be mindful. Stop doing stupid stuff and posting it will go a long way to help minimize attention.
