by: IU 08I went into rush with a very open mind. I tried to make connections with every house during every round. I found myself today with only 2 houses left. I felt no connection whatsoever with either one at any time so far. I have seen similar posts on here and I have a real problem with all the people saying "you should have stuck it out", or "you didn't give them a real chance". The houses get to pick and choose and cut girls all along because "they don't want you", or "they don't remember you", or "they had girls picked before they even met them" and that's okay but at the end when I drop because "I don't want them" I get blasted. This experience carries a great deal of emotional and financial investment. I don't need someone else to tell me where I do and don't fit in.

IU got rid of bed quota already. We're doing quota based on the number of pnms who choose to complete the process, like other schools. We still haven't moved to full quota total though.

You're missing the point. You have to set a quota or otherwise all women would choose 8 chapters to be in. Quota ensures that all chapters are viable.

is basically a thing of the past, grandma. This year quota was not set until today when they could see how many girls went to a pref party. The main issue now is setting a standard size for membership, without this chapters can choose to have as many or as few was they want. That is the real problem.
