bad convo at house i love
by: 8993I was so happy going into Pref today. I had my fav house since the 22 Parties and one that I think I like well enough to be happy because I've been super impressed by their sisterhood. First party today was at that house. And it went really well. I could be happy there. Then I went to my absolute Fav, Fav, Fav house. All through the parties, every convo I had there was amazing and I totally connected. But today, the girl I talked too stared into space and looked around the room a lot. I tried so hard to make conversation with her, but it was so hard. She wasn't like any of the girls I've met at the other parties. Now I'm scared that this bad pairing ruins my chances at a bid. Should I be scared? How much does this matter? Does the chapter consider how I've done up until now at that house?

Usually your ranking is a sum of all your rankings for the entire rush process, so don’t worry! This happened to me at the chapter I’m currently at and I couldn’t be happier I found my fit. There’s always someone who had a bad day or is a little more introverted. Plus you don’t always connect with every single person in a chapter.

There's also the possibility that one of her favorite pnms ranked the house low and didn't come back, and she's bummed. You're not supposed to let those things get to you, but everyone's human and recruitment is stressful on both sides. Long story short a lot of the time another person's reaction to you has nothing to do with you.
