So I just finished pref round. What are my odds of getting a bid from the first house I put on the ranking sheet? Please answer realistically, I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

Sorry, but not really. Just because you had a good conversation doesn't mean others aren't higher on the bid list plus there are things like legacies getting put on the top. No one has control of where they fall on the bid list, unless they obviously do something horrible at a house or are a legacy that's guaranteed a bid under some national policies.

We honestly have no way of knowing. Ranking both chapters you attended today helps your odds. I know it's a long time between now and bid day, but relax if you can. It's all out of your hands now. Best wishes to you!!

No one can give you the odds. There's just too much variation. Just relax. There's nothing more you can do.
