I’ve heard a select few sororities made pnms suicide them... I thought that wasn’t allowed?

No sorority can make anyone suicide them. And besides, they will never know if you ranked another house on your pref card, unless you don't get a bid from them, in which case you should just be glad you didn't suicide.
