As much as people want to hate on them, the really are a step up from TPA, ASA, DPhiE. They seems to pair with the any of the same chapters as SDT, ADPi, and AGD. They are still somewhat of a mixed bag because they have half a chapter of women still there from the colonization, but they are slowly establishing their identity.

The lease they have on Phi Psi is eligible to be extended if Phi Psi is not ready to come back. With the number of fraternities losing their chapters, I don't see them being unhoused, just maybe not in Phi Psi after next school year.

Phi Psi was supposed to come back this year, but didn’t have a big enough recolonization class to fill the house. It’s not for certain, but they may only have 1 more year in that house. And if there are no available houses at the time, they would be unhoused.

Of the sororities that don't own houses, SK is the only one that owned a house for many, many years at IU. They sold their house to Pi Kapps when they left campus in the mid 1990s. Even if they only got like $500k from selling the house after the mortgage was paid off, if that money was invested wisely, they should have a substantial nest egg.

This is pure speculation but I would guess that of the "unhoused" chapters currently renting, they are probably the one most likely to build their own home at some point in the future.

Don't worry, Sigma Kappa will continue to have a house regardless of what happens with the one they are in now; they do have the national means and money to rent or buy houses in the future.

Unless another chapter gets kicked off SK will be unhoused after next year. IU is not selling land to Greek life period end of story. It’s not funds that are the issue.

People don’t hate Sigma Kappa because they’re jealous or wish they weren’t better, people hate Sigma Kappa because they’re not nice and they’re not fun to pair with. Plain and simple.

Whether SK nationals has the money or not, IU is not wanting to sell land to greek chapters, so i don't know where they are planning on having their house then. Also Phi Psi is fighting for their house back I personally know people in the chapter.

SK is not going yo take any steps back! They will have a house, the may rent for few years. Eventually the will OWN some house at IU?!!

none of the frats like them because they won’t let them open pairs and none of the sororities like them because they try to act like they’re higher tier than they are. they’re bottom of the barrel just like the rest.

Really like this house. Heard sisterhood was tentative but didn’t see it. With the others didn’t feel the love. It’s like they’re working but chill and authentic. Hope I’m right. Following my heart on this.
