preffing theta

I have Theta in my top for 9 party, but some people I've talked to have said I shouldn't pref them because of what they did to Greek Life. I like them a lot, but I'm worried about being associated with a bad reputation and not enjoying being in their house. I just want to know if people honestly hate them that much, or if it is just a bunch of other people in greek life blowing this whole thing all out of proportion.

They’re pretty disliked throughout greek life honestly. They’re going to have a tough time pairing with frats once probo is over and I’ve heard a lot about frats not wanting to pair with them for little 5. I also have friends in theta who’ve told me it’s pretty cliquey and kind of split between WIB girls and the others. Just what I have heard tho.

If you like the women in your chapter, that's all that matters. End of story. Go where you feel at home.

Theta did nothing to Greek life. Greek life did it to itself. And even if it is "Theta's fault" at least they have some integrity and understanding of how unhealthy and out of control IU Greek life is/was.

They were the reason SNU got kicked off and was the last incident which encouraged the shut down of the fraternities.

SNU was the reason SNU got kicked off. Thetas might have "told on" them, but if they wrong then SNU would still be around.

THETA PAID TO HAVE POSTS REMOVED FROM THIS THREAD. There was a post from the sister of a current member and it's gone. Recruitment must be not going well ladies, that's desperation when you pay to have a post removed.

^ i can confirm, I saw the post. It was about upperclassman creating cliques and being mean to eachother and the whole house having cliques. I can verify it was removed.
