is legacy taken into account?

Is legacy status for a chapter taken into account when inviting back PNMs? How do the actives know you’re a legacy when making cuts (aside from filling out legacy forms)?

If you're a legacy the house is required to invite you back for the second round, however, after that round if they don't think you would be a good fit they don't have to invite you back. Most chapters at IU do not really take you being a legacy into account. Most go with whatever girl they like more. They have a list of all the girls that are legacies so they are aware but it helps if you mentioned it.

Being a legacy to a top tier house at IU doesn't mean much at all. Keep an open mind and tell your mom or grandma to do the same.
