houses on probation

Hi guys I'm going to rush this year and there's been a lot of talk about Pi Phi being on probation but I know other houses are on probation too so I'm just wondering are there different "levels" of probation. Like is Pi Phi or Theta being on Probation mean they're in the same position as Tri Delt was or does it take awhile to get bad enough where you would get kicked off.

the reason you hear the most about Pi Phi being on probation is because they're the top house on campus so fair or not they have a bullseye on their back. They also go out more than Theta and obviously AGD so it's more likely for them to not get off probation.

I think Thetas still on probation from their nationals and I believe AGD is off probation now.

Tri delts situation was not like Pi phis. Tri delt was on bad terms with their nationals and were kicked off as a result, Pi phis nationals are currently working alongside Pi phi to make sure everything goes smoothly and they remain on campus. There's a very big difference between the two

theta is on really thin ice with both their nationals and the university. nationally they're not allowed to have pairs and after they were caught doing it, they're nationals put them on probo. they also had problems with their older pc that got them in trouble with the university. pi phi will probably be fine, they're doing a lot to manage their risk and i think they'll be just fine

theta isn't allowed to have pairs nationally? can someone explain that to me? what should girls wanting theta know before going in?

No sorority nationals would condone pairs. Sober "mixers" are allowed, but anything with alcohol isn't. Some groups just let it happen more than others.

pi phi chose on their own not to have a homecoming pair and are on good terms with nationals unless something really bad happens between now and december they will be off probo

I have a lot of friends in AGD, and idk if their off probo yet, but they're ALWAYS having problems with getting in trouble and transports. They took a 90 girl pledge class and had sooo many problems because they couldn't handle all of them. That's why they had a girl go missing last year and 2 transports. My friend is very unhappy there, is only staying in to party until she lives out next year and then is dropping.
