sophomore rush

I heard IU does formal recruitment in January. I'm thinking of transferring next semester from an SEC school and rushing. I'll be a sophomore so I was wondering if houses took upperclassmen here or if there was a separate upperclassmen quota. Thank you!! (This is for sororities)

No, IU doesn't do upperclass quota. All PNMs are lumped together.

it's definitely harder. a lot of houses don't take many sophomores if any so you really just have to go through the rounds with an open mind and not get your heart set on anything because some will cut you just because you're a sophomore. it's not impossible though, a lot of my friends that rushed as sophomores ended up in houses just not necessarily their first choices
