rushing a fraternity

by: Bro

If I'm a 21 year old sophomore transfer kid is there any point in rushing? I've got another 3 years of school left and I wanna have a good time while finishing my business degree at Kelley.

Yes absolutely. I would tell anyone to rush as long as they have at least 2.5 years left at IU regardless of age. You'll want friends to go to the bars with.

Keep an open mind during rush, because unfortunately, some houses wont be looking for 21 year olds.

Probably no one in the top. But you may definitely be able to get into some housed fraternities if you're willing to live in for a year or two

So basically better chances if I shoot for upper mid/mid houses like phi delt/phi sig/sae etc and find somewhere I fit in well and kind of avoid sigma chi/beta/fiji

That might even be hard, check out Theta chi, DU, TKE, DChi, etc.

Also am I asked at rush if I'm willing to live in the house? My apartment has a full year lease so I wouldn't be able to live in unless if I subletted it and I definitely wouldn't want to live in while pledging haha
