tell the truth about tri delta
by: iowahey guys. I'm a tri delta transferring from Iowa State. I'm looking at schools and realized that Tri Delta closed here??? CanI ask what happened? I'm being nosy but I've never heard of nationals pulling out DDD, so i'm pretty curious. Are the tri delts still friends? would it be worth going to IU?

I'm sure some of them are still friends while some new pledges have joined or will be joining new chapters. I mean they are no longer technically recognized as a sorority at IU so if you were hoping to transfer into the sorority that's no longer possible. If you're looking for the sorority experience I wouldn't recommend transferring.

There's been a lot of speculation as to why they closed most people say because they were on probabtion until 2019 and were not allowed to attend parties, however, they ignored that and continued to pair. People also said something about axing. They've been on thin ice for a bit of time now and they decided to close the chapter because I guess they felt the gels were not representing tri delt well with how they were behaving.
