If you pledge a fraternity that is housed, do you have to live in the house? Can you still be in the fraternity and live in an apartment or somewhere off campus? If so, are your dues going to not include the live-in cost?

A lot of houses have live in requirements. Normally two years if you're a freshman and one year if you're a sophomore. You have to pay a sizeable live out fee if you cant live in or don't want too.

I guess I can't speak for all fraternities but if you have a reason to live out that should be fine. Living out is way cheaper. You just pay dues and maybe a fee.

Honestly I'd love to actually get to live in the house buuut I feel like I'd never get anything done too many distractions. Cool thanks for the info guys!
