Most important thing is to bring up your GPA. It HAS to be over 3.0 and ideally between 3.1 and 3.5. If you're a sophomore you want to have your GPA on the high end. Sororities are looking to cut people and GPAs are the easiest way to do so.
Second, I'd brush up on your social skills. You can learn a lot online on how to make meaningful conversations in five minutes or less. Learn to connect with people during first introductions.
Third, get to know girls in sororities if you haven't already. They can vouch for you when the sororities are reviewing who to add, and you want people in every sorority you're interested in to vouch for you.
Fourth, have confidence. Acknowledge that since you're a sophomore the cards aren't in your favor but if you do everything in here your chances of getting a bid increase.
