Speaking as someone in an u housed fraternity, I would love to contribute more to Greek life at iu. Putting aside the fact I didn't get bids from other houses when I did rush, I still enjoy what the culture is and the people in it. I'm not making excuses for things holding us back (no house, not as much $, etc.) but the one thing that doesn't allow us to make an impact is respect. I respect most other houses fratnerinties, and I'd love if we could have some of that respect as well. We have philanthropies, we volunteer, we party. Maybe not on the same scale, but we're trying to get there.
