I want to buy some of my own apparel other than what my house offers, what is a good site to order from that other people recommend?

Each sorority has official, licensed merchants whom they allow to use the groups copyrighted letters, symbols, badges, etc on merchandise. So I think you are officially stuck with the merchants your national org has already chosen.

honestly, I've gotten some great stuff off of my sorority's "shirt swap" group on Facebook. Lots of chapters have them. It's either girls and alums selling/trading stuff they don't wear anymore or smaller chapters open up orders to the group so prices can get discounted on some cool stuff. You can find it for just about any chapter on Facebook.

i agree with the shirt groups on facebook. something greek is ok but much cheaper to do the shirt group if you ask me.

Talk to people in houses and ask them about it. You can always buy generic stuff online but IU specific stuff and cooler designs you have to get through houses on campus
