This was not any surprise to the chapters executive board., The executive office did not come in out of the blue and decide to take drastic measures and pull their charter. This was an ongoing problem and the chapter was a high risk for Tri Delt. This was just the straw that broke the camels back. 100 years on IU's campus and now it's gone. It is unfortunate initiated women had so little respect for their chapter and it's legacy that it had to came to this.

No sorority nationals ever want to pull a charter. It is a last resort after MANY warnings. The members, probably not the pledges, absolutely knew that they were in trouble. To disregard the warnings and continue with destructive behavior, they have to own it. No one should have sympathy for them. They did not deserve to continue to represent DDD.

If any rumoured gossip needs to stop, it's about 3D. ANY chapter of 3D. Please. There are many adults available at the 3D national level who will make official press releases to the public if and when the time is necessary. Think about your friends and family in ANY sorority or frat, would THEY want THEIR chapter or national group gossiped about? Do YOU want YOUR chapter or national org gossiped about? All that does is spread rumours until someone official speaks, and rumours are not fair to anyone concerned. Speaking fairly and truthfully is fine, but stop the rumours please.
