Did their pledges go active yet? If they do get kicked off sucks for those girls maybe they didn't go active so they can go through recruitment next year

Just because they broke probation. That sounds a little strict.

Tri Delta has been out of favor with their nationals for quite some time. Starting with the small number of pledges they take. Nationals want you to take as many pledges as possible, it means more money coming in. A few years ago they deliberately paid the fine to take fewer pledges than the mandate, Nationals was not happy. Then they don't always follow Tri Delta policies. Again another strike. Not sure what the third strike is, but I wouldn't be surprised if nationals decided they were more trouble than they were worth.

IU used to have bed rush, which meant 3D took-in the fewest number of pledges because their home was the smallest/slept the fewest number of people. When IU changed gradually to their version of the national RFM model 3D took slight offense and for awhile still did not take-in the RFM required number, paying a fine instead. The rest of their reasons for leaving/revocation is known only to 3D initiates.

My mom is a Tri Delt and they got an email about it. She said that they were closed effective immediately and that's all that was in the email.

Wait, what? You mean they went into the meeting to get the news and they took their phones as they came in? That's majorly effed up.

Apparently DDD is losing their patience with big 10, they closed penn state a few years ago and have pretty much said they never want to come back.

It's a private organization, they most certainly can ban phones from the meeting. I would not want phones there to keep someone from filming private business matters. Grow up girls, your cell phone is not a necessity. You can be separated from it for a few minutes and still live.

What did they even do, aside from not taking enough pledges that doesn't seem like enough

this may be an old rumor but a friend who got a bid said they wouldnt charge dues to their pledges, they would raise that money by selling c0ke instead. that would definitely be a reason to kick them off if somebody found out

Of course the he said she said has always been a "reliable" source! Especially when it's bad mouthing someone else! Different story when it is about you or something of your interest. Good and credible reply I totally believe what you said now and so should everyone else๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
