sigma k house
by: ChachooSo how is Sigma K gonna build a house? Like where would they build it, and isn't IU not allowing any greek organizations to build on campus for a long time? Not bashing SK at all, just curious for the specifics.

Let's make sure SK is properly bashed on here like everyone did to TPA. They are squatters for the foreseeable future. They will be unhoused and irrelevant soon, so let's not be quick to move them up from being a bottom tier house. They will not be able to build anytime soon. Their hopes rely on the only constant in IUs greek community, the failure of a housed frat.

Nationals has a contract with IU. They already signed a contract to start building, and will have a house before the lease ends in 2019. I don't know why people keep saying IU isn't setting aside land for new houses, if you can provide some kind of evidence of this maybe it would be more relevant.

You are all fools. Unless you have graduated college-serve on a zoning board affiliated with IU, the State of Indiana or the executive board of Nationals, be quiet. Anything you are saying is just pathetic. Obviously-you are jealous, don't want sk to succeed or are just a miserable person. Get a life and move on. No one on this site has credible information. Peace out.

Actually, no matter what people say on here. It is a fact that IU is not offering ANY land to ANY Greek organizations. Sigma Kappa is not getting any special treatment. And other fraternities have been waiting in line for a land grab for YEARS. So if land does become available, SK may not get priority. If you haven't noticed, IU is really expanding EVERYWHERE. There priority right now is building enough classrooms for the growing class size. Like damn, theres not even enough space in most dorms right now for the freshmen, so any available developable land is going to go to IU's interests. Have you not noticed that 3rd street was once ALL sororities and fraternities, but then IU expanded.
