Is it harder to rush again as a sophomore? If so, why?

They take less sophomores because sophomores pay less dues than freshmen. It's more cost effective. But if this time around you have a higher gpa, have connections with sorority girls/a good rep, anything can happen. I know of people who got cut by every housed sorority as a freshman then got pi phi/Aphi the year after. Not that top tier is the goal, but it's just very encouraging that in those cases, girls got in it the most competitive houses! There's hope!
