It's not their backup group, it's the girls that were added on to the second half of the list.

I'd have no idea. You'd have to ask someone in AGD. If you're not sure if you're on the invite list, try asking someone in the chapter to check.

They messed up big time by cutting to many girls between rounds,which led them with not enough to fill the pc. Good luck to all that want to join. They will be lucky to have you all

Totally do it yourself. You might have been someone they dropped when they were making to big of cuts. Show you are interested GOOD LUCK.

Probably not, AGD's girls are really sweet and wouldn't cut you for reaching out (at least I'd be surprised if they do). I say email them but don't Facebook message a girl.

COB doesn't hurt a chapter... obviously they need more girls to fill their house and not everyone through COB will get in.

I don't know where you're at but AGD has already had one COB event and my friends have gotten bids. Honestly I think other sororities are just jealous that AGD is getting the girls through COB that they could've gotten through informal.

No one is jealous of AGD, seriously. They set quota super high at 75. They did not make quota, therefore they can COB up to their set quota even if they are above average chapter size. IU does not have chapter total, so I know you have no clue what you're talking about. They are going to lose women next year when their house bills go up drastically over this year because of the addition to their house.

AGD is a nice chapter, but no one is jealous. They made some mistakes during recruitment thinking a new house would make them more desirable to PNMs. They also weren't expecting ADPi and SK to have such strong recruitments. AGD ended up missing the quota they set. Point blank, that is why they are doing COB.

It's actually funny how little people know about recruitment this year.

It's obvious you know very little about this year's recruitment. Quota minimum was 55, however chapters could turn in a higher quota, which both ZTA and AGD did. There are other chapters who also turned in a higher quota, but they made quota. Then the recruitment director at Panhel, who was incompetent, by the way, panicked when the bottom fell out of recruitment and girls started dropping right and left. So the minimum quota was reset at bid matching to 54. However, if you set a higher quota than minimum, then it was the same. Yes, those chapters that had between 54-58 made quota plus quota additions.

AGD and ZTA set super high quotas and did not make them.

How do I know this? I am an advisor to a sorority on campus and an alumna of that same IU sorority. I am growing rather tired of all of the misinformation being circulated.

AGD knew they were going to have to do COB because they sucked at recruitment. Stop defending them. They got passed over this year for recruitment by ADPi, SK and ASA. There were girls in my rho gam group who ranked ASA and SK over AGD.
