I was very surprised that some of the girls in my group didn't get bids. This has to have been one of the most competitive rushes in recent years.

Actually, it was one of the least. Three years ago it was the most competitive, with 400 women getting to pref round, ranking all that they had or suiciding, and still not receiving a bid. It was less than 50% of the girls that rushed that year that got a bid.

do girls already know if they didnt get a bid ?

The same if we are gonna find out today that we didn't get a bid at what time will that be. I'm to embarrassed to ask this question to anywhere else

You will find out between 4 and 5 if you didn't get a bid.
