Hi! I just went through recruitment as well and I absolutely fell in love with them. I ranked them first and am hoping I receive a bid from them. They all seemed like such sweet girls. I too really liked that they have the apartments because it's similar to having a house. You are near all your sisters but don't have to necesssrily live in the same house as all of them. Unhoused is looked down by the Greek system on this website but in reality they are a bunch of sweet girls and i think it's rude for any of the other sororities or fraternities to look down upon the unhoused chapters purely because they don't have a house. If you really loved them then ignore what other people might think because you'll have the same experience that you would if you ended up in a housed chapter.

As with anything in life...you will get a lot of different opinions. From some people being elitist to some people being neutral/accepting to some people loving TPA.

In general, I personally think that TPA is great and the apartments are awesome and will give you a house experience.

The most important thing though is that you do what's best for you, and since you say you love TPA, it sounds like you knew that that was the best fit for you. You're always going to get haters, so brush that off. I'm a senior now so I can tell you for sure that being in a sorority is so much more than having a house or not.

When i rushed TPA the girl rushing me during 9 party was so rude and evidently showed she didn't care what i had to say by looking around the room, looking down at her hands/dress, rudely interrupting me. Sorry you didn't want to hear about my interests, next time at least be polite.

TPA posts this kind of stuff all the time. Please stop pretending to be a pnm, a guy, someone in a different sorority who wished they went tpa. Tiresome. You don't see other sororities on here doing this. It would be one thing if it was occasionally but it's all the time.
